Local Support Along the Way
Care Closer to Home — and Support When You Travel
For people in Smithers and the Bulkley Valley, cancer treatment is often a combination of local care and travel. Chemotherapy and ongoing monitoring may be delivered at the Bulkley Valley District Hospital — Community Cancer Clinic in Smithers, while radiation and specialist oncology appointments typically take place at BC Cancer – Prince George. This page outlines both, and introduces a private resource in Prince George that some people find useful on those same trips.
