The Community Cancer Clinic at Prince Rupert Regional Hospital serves patients across the north coast — including those traveling from Metlakatla, Lax Kw'alaams, and surrounding communities. Chemotherapy and community oncology are delivered locally, on Ts'msyen traditional territory.

For services not available locally — including radiation therapy and certain specialist consultations — patients are referred to BC Cancer – Prince George, approximately 725 km south.

Opened in November 2012, BC Cancer – Prince George was the first site in northern BC to offer radiation therapy. It provides radiation, chemotherapy, counselling, and nutrition services, with two linear accelerators on site. The centre sits on Lheidli T'enneh traditional territory, adjacent to the University Hospital of Northern BC.
